Running Diary
Aug. 28th, 2006 12:09 pmIt being a Bank Holiday, I didn't go running at 7.30. I awarded myself a lie-in until 9.15 and a leaisurely breakfast: time enough to wonder whether I really wanted to go out.
But I did and I managed my 30 minutes, if not effortlessly then with ease. I even failed to notice the hill on Ocean Road until I was nearly at the top!
Since restarting running two weeks ago after a six-week layoff with hay fever and injury, I've done 30, 30, 30, 35, 30, 30, 30, 45 and 30, all on their appointed days and all without walk breaks. I think I'm entitled to feel pleased with myself!
You may have guessed that I'm procrastinating at the moemnt - I have my draft business plan to prepare for my meeting with George Littlehales tomorrow afetrnoon.
