Piggy

Remember Piggy? She's now mounted and on the wall.

She looks remarkably simple compared to Daresbury (who continues to make steady progress).

Piggy was intended as a card, so the mount was already provided. All I had to was stick her down with double-sided tape so she could peek through the hole. Then I put the card in a cheap photo frame from Wilkinsons.

Now Daresbury is going to be much more interesting. Fortunately I have some experience of mounting photographs for exhibition, and I guess the process isn't much different.

You do have to fold the edges of the canvas around a board and stitch it (really lace it up) across to hold it straight - but it's quite fun and a lot cheaper than professional framers. I had one done professionally; the wedding one I did for my best friend - but have done all the others myself.
