dyfferent - tell us about yourself and head the post with your name plus -OLOGY
FOODOLOGY
What is your salad dressing of choice?
Vinaigrette using freshly-squeezed lime juice instead of vinegar
What is your favourite sit-down restaurant?
Tricky - but
dyfferent reminds me that I do miss Sweeney & Todd in Reading (we have excellent pie shops here but they are all carry-outs.)
What food could you eat every day for two weeks and not get sick of?
I've been eating organic fruit crunch from the wholefood shop every morning for more weekjs than I care to remember and I'm still not bored.
What are your pizza toppings of choice?
anchovy, olives and proper mozzarella
What do you like to put on your toast?
toasted Lancashire cheese and pickled walnuts
*TECHNOLOGY*
What is your wallpaper on your computer?
A photo of Mount Everest from Base Camp. Not, I hasten to add, one of my own photos
How many televisions are in your house?
None
What colour mobile phone do you have?
Silver and black
*BIOLOGY*
Are you right-handed or left-handed?
Right
Have you ever had anything removed from your body?
A papilloma from my abdomen. Teeth. A quantity of tissue from my nasal cavity. That will do to be getting on with.
What is the last heavy item you lifted?
Tosca
Have you ever been knocked unconscious?
Not by a blow, no.
*BULLSHITOLOGY*
If it were possible, would you want to know the day you were going to die?
No.
If you could change your name, what would you change it to?
I like the one I've got. If I wanted to ring the changes I like other dactylic names, like Alison or Verity funnily enough. I have used both for leading characters in my writing.
Would you drink an entire bottle of hot sauce for $1,000?
I could cope with that. I might want to negotiate - a whole jar of extra hot lime pickle, which I mainline from time to time, for an enhanced fee.
*DUMBOLOGY*
How many pairs of flip flops do you own?
None.
Last time you had a run-in with the cops?
I tend to get on quite well with the local constabulary. As a crime writer it's worth keeping on the right side of them.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I haven't the slightest intention of ever being grown up
Last person you talked to?
Kath, my bridge partner tonight
Last person you hugged?
Gill

My Mum
*RANDOMOLOGY*
First place you went this morning?
Walney Bridge, then back and around Barrow Island streets
What can you not wait to do?
I'm quite patient these days
