When the sky is blue and the sun is shining, and there are distant mountains to mesmerise and the sea just a short walk away, it's hard to find time to write in my journal. My new home seems to be going poorly documented. But here I am again, having returned from the beach with somewhat sunburnt ankles that I neglec ted to protect.

But it was a wonderful day to be by the sea, with a good book. And to set a few free while I was about it.



My mum says my dad claimed pride in taking her away from this place! The fool!

wow what a colour reminds me of the Ayrshire coast on a hot summers day. Not tat we got many of them.
