Am I alone in finding that this story doesn't ring true?

A man - a stranger - walks into a house unobserved. He enters the bathroom and finds a six-year-old girl in the bath. He then abducts the girl - again unheard and unobserved - and leaves her screaming in a nearby street.

I'm sorry - who leaves a six-year-old unsupervised in a bath? I would want words with the girl's parents myself.

Definatly not alone in thinking something doesn't ring true. It certainly worried me that it was possible for this "stranger" to be able to access the house let alone the bathroom.

Wow..... I must admit i do leave my back door unlocked (as the dogs go in and out) but i think i'd know if someone came in, well the dogs would tell me for starters.... If i didnt have the dogs and say, if i was in my bedroom and DD was in the bath, well.....

Scary stuff.......

Yeah, we were talking about that at work yesterday - how it surely must be a family member who did it, because abductions don't tend to happen like that.
