It's quite humid out, so I felt it more than I have done lately.

I was a bit rel;uctant to go out as well, although as ever I feel good now that I've done it!

As you know, I like to give a plug to freakytigger's mammoth project of reviewing every UK number one single since the first chart was published in 1952. We're up to 1973, and have just done 10cc's Rubber Bullets.

Tom is looking for comments from people who weren't 'there' at the time. Well, I have been 'there' since about 1962 and before that there was a lot of stuff I encountered for the first time. And soon lots of the stuff will be new to me again. It's a fascinating journey and one which I know a lot of those reading this journal would enjoy very much.

A lot of you were 'there' at the tame time as me. Others amongst my readers will be meeting the music for the first time - and you are just the sort that is needed.
