Breathless

It was only towards evening that the temperature nudged above freezing today, and it's been grey and dank all day.

It was -2C when I went out running this morning, and although I wore lots of layers it was a bad session again. My lungs felt almost fit to burst in the icy air.

I'm worried about Wokingham in just over a week. But I do want that medal!

According to the forecast it's going to get warmer over the next few days. Let's hope it lasts right through next weekend!

I'd have been better off in Shetland today!

Keep going for it! Are you being sponsored for this one? I hope you don't mind but I refuse to use paypal (long story) and I saw that Bagbooks are going to be at the Uncon. Would it be ok if I put my contribution in the tin there?

good luck in the running. Used to run myself (edinburgh marathon). I now cycle and really hate the wind too. I can't wait for winter to be over....brrrrh
