I've added two more images to my basic range. Both were photographs taken in the Ulverston area, and one intention is to sell them to the Ulverston TIC (Ulverston being much more well-heeled than Barrow.) They are:

Seen here from the public footpath, south of the town and close to Swarthmoor Hall.

Rosicards are hand-made blank A6 greetings cards, with envelopes. They cost GBP 2.50 each, with discounts for larger quantities. Customised and personalised cards can be supplied to order.

Following my success in selling some of my cards using my photographs, I've decided to market them more widely! They are currently available as cream A6 cards with envelopes, but I fully intend to expand the range of card types, sizes and images if the venture proves successful. At the moment I can accept payment by PayPal and by personal cheque - if you would like to place an order, please let me know - rosicards at swimbarrow dot co dot uk.

Tell me, too, if you have a favourite image you would like to see in the range. Currently available are:

Today, the first trading day of the year, I went to Ulverston to try to tempt the books-crafts-and-artefacts shop The Tinners Rabbit into buying some of my photo-cards. They have agreed to buy half a dozen of each of three of my cards on a trial basis, with more to come if they sell!

The three designs they wanted to try are:

I finally got my grant application and business plan to Furness Enterprise today.

The panel will consider it on 25 September. Until then, I'm not able to trade (or I won't get any grant). It's frustrating.

Still, I can do my market research and try to secure some investment (paying bills this month and next is going to be really tight.
